Join us for a lesson on plant fiber and how to make rope from milkweed stalks.
About this Event

Old Stone House's very own Garden Coordinator, Angel Martinez Lombardo, hosts a fall botany lesson and cordage making workshop (cordage meaning natural rope or twine). Participants will learn about the physiology behind plant fibers, and the science behind the leaves changing color, all while learning how to twist natural plant fiber into rope.

Each attendee will leave with their very own milkweed cordage!
