In this Coraline-inspired cake decorating class, students will learn how to create a hauntingly beautiful cake. Using deep blue and black tones, they’ll practice smoothing buttercream for an ombré effect and applying a dramatic black drip. Students will also learn how to pipe bold shell borders and embellish their cakes with edible buttons, capturing the eerie essence of the “Other World.” A printed edible image of Coraline will serve as the cake’s centerpiece, teaching students how to apply and frame it with decorative piping.
