The opening day of the Coral Scottish Grand National Festival is Ladies Day and sees the first seven of fifteen exciting races over the two days headlined by the Hillhouse Quarry Handicap Chase.This competitive race always attracts a quality field and top trainer Dan Skelton has a superb record here having saddled four of the last five winners including Beakstown, ridden by Harry Skelton, in 2022.
The main supporting contest is the Coral Mares’ Handicap Hurdle which also went the way of the Skeltons on the latest running with Get A Tonic winning.
