Game Development with Scratch (Ages 12-17)

WeCode KC presents a next-level Scratch class. The sky is the limit as we explore higher concepts of gaming and technology for a hands-on journey that merges fun, learning and coding.

Participants will engage with game development, creativity, and team building. Don't miss this unforgettable experience at the intersection of gaming and coding!

Students under 12 may attend this class if they have a solid working knowledge of Scratch. If you are unsure please bring your student to class and we'll assess their readiness. We might recommend your student first gain more experience in our Beginner Scratch class before enrolling here.

PARENTS: Please note that our instructors are dedicated professionals who work in their respective fields and volunteer their time. WeCodeKC strives to serve all students who show an interest in coding, IT, and web development. Our goal is to provide a safe, inclusive, and equitable environment for every student who wants to learn. If you have a student with special needs, ADHD, ASD, or other conditions that might prevent them from focusing for 45 minutes at a time, please be prepared to come to class with your student.
