Copy of ART CLASSES FOR ADULTS, Fridays

Each session can be unique based on different content so you gain a set of skills or it can be focused on a particular purpose, technique and style such as, drawing, watercolour, landscapes, flowers, abstract, art portfolio preparation or anything of your choice so you develop a range of skills and knowledge.

Materials needed: A3 watercolour sketchbook (180gsm) or canvas, according to your preference.

Other painting materials, refreshments and treats are provided. However, you are welcome to bring and use extra materials that match with your mood :)

Maximum participant number is 3

Feel free to contact me for an alternative day & time for the classes so everyone is happy, have some fun, relax, learn, and enjoy the tranquility and calmness that art practice provides.

If you create your own group session/s you can choose your preferred language: English, Turkish or Greek.

I'm Hatitze, born and raised in Greece, I relocated to Manchester in 2018. I studied my BA degree in painting at Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts (Istanbul) and completed the pedagogical education programme οf the same university. I also, completed my MA Fine Art degree at Manchester Metropolitan University.

I had the opportunity to develop and run art workshops for both, fellow students at Manchester Metropolitan University and the age group of 13-16 for MMU National Art & Design Saturday Club.

I run painting workshops for children in Greek, Turkish and English in my studio. Through these workshops, students experiment with a variety of painting materials, and get familiar with artists, artworks while developing their own visual language. They also experience the relation between observing and creating artworks. Art is a universal form of expression, these painting classes cultivate students' confidence in what they see and create.

My studio is located in Ancoats / New Islington in one of the historical buildings of this area. At a distance of 0,5-1 miles you can find shops and cafes such as Pollen Bakery, House of Esk, Ancoats Coffee Co., M&S Outlet, Aldi, Costa, Domino's Pizza, etc. You can either have a brew at the studio or a walk around the industrial neighbourhood.

I'll be more than happy to welcome everyone who would like to draw, paint, relax, have some fun and learn about the history of art!
