Copperplate Calligraphy

Have you always wished you could write more beautifully? This beginner friendly calligraphy course will walk you through the foundations of a classic pointed pen script. Copperplate is a lovely, traditional hand that stems from English Roundhand and was popular in the 18th and 19th centuries. The contrast between elegant hairlines and gentle swells will take your penmanship to a more formal level while preserving legibility.

Class includes two hours of instruction in a small group with plenty of individual attention. Brush pens will be provided for your use during class. Alcoholic and NA beverages, as well as mini charcuterie boxes are available for purchase from the venue. Led by Margot Griffin of Inky Fingers Calligraphy.
