The Copperas Cove Economic Development Corporation hosted its first regional hiring event in July 2024. Feedback from job seekers indicated they would have liked to see more employers from the trades industry. Since then, we have partnered with various organizations to bring a skilled trades hiring event to Copperas Cove.This event will provide a platform for employers to connect with and recruit job seekers relevant to their companies. Job seekers will have the chance to learn about the skilled trades industry, connect with various resources and employers within the region, and explore ways to enhance their skills in their current field.
