Learn how to work copper into small sculptural forms.
About this Event

This one- day workshop focuses on creating natural plant forms using a variety of copper forming and joinery techniques: fold forming, forging, fullering, veining, drilling, riveting and soft soldering.

Participants will learn how a two-dimensional pattern in a flat, rigid sheet copper can be stretched, pulled and gathered up to transform into three dimensional organic forms..

We'll show you how to form petals, sepals, stems and leaves and then how to assemble all the parts into a complete flower.

No previous metalworking experience is necessary.
Class runs from 9am-5pm. All materials, safety equipment, coffee and tea will be provided. Lunch is available in town / an indoor lunch area with a microwave and fridge is provided on site if you bring your own food. Please wear closed-toe shoes and long pants.

Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. See you there!

COST: $ 375.00 per person (+ HST + eventbrite registration fee)
