Copper Bowls - Copper Smithing Level 1
About this Event
During this one day course you will learn how to raise a bowl from a flat sheet of copper.
We will show you the various methods and tools for creating a bowl or dish, which include the safe use of the torch, stakes and special hammers. This course welcomes students to experiment with design and technique, making the bowl their own.
This is one day course. Class runs from 9am-5pm.
All materials, safety equipment, coffee and tea will be provided. Lunch is available in town / an indoor lunch area with a microwave and fridge is provided on site if you bring your own food. Please wear closed-toe shoes and long pants.
