• Fills - How to fill in a color evenly
• Washes - How to fill in an area and create a watercolor effect.
• Blending - How to blend one color into an another.
• Gradients - How to gradually fade a color out to nothing or to another color.
• Layering - How to place your colors and values on top of each other to build an image.
• Textures - How to create the following textures - grass, fur, wood, rocks, sand, scales, skin, parchment, water, glass, metal

• Colors - How to choose your colors and make a color sheet
• Value - How to choose values and make a value chart.
• Highlight, Midtone, Shadow - Choose a light color, a midtone and a shadow color. Compare them to your value chart.
• Washes - Wet on Wet
• Using a blending marker
• Using alcohol or blending "ink"
• Layering - Wet on Dry
• Blending - Wet on wet or wet on dry
• Textures - splash, spatter, grass, fur, wood, rocks, sand, scales, skin, parchment, water, glass, metal
