Join the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce, and the City of Inverness as we host one of the kickoff events of the 2021 Cooter Festival.Put all of your cares away and come on out for a night of laughs with three of Florida's best comedians at the first ever Cooter Comedy Night.
JJ Curry – A regular at Side Splitters in his hometown of Tampa, JJ is one of the hottest young comics currently touring.
Carmen Vallone – When he’s not on the road, Carmen teaches a class in stand-up comedy at his home club, the Orlando Improv.
Paul Jensen –While he may look like someone that likes to commit felonies for fun it doesn't take long for audiences to realize that Paul Jensen is one of the friendliest, relatable and funny stand-up comedians working today.
The son of immigrants and the only person in his family to ever become a U.S. citizen, Paul's humor comes from his real life experiences of never quite fitting in. He shares his bizarre views on relationships, getting older, parenthood and more in one of the most unique stand-up acts today.
Paul has performed internationally at comedy clubs, resorts and theaters and is even a regular act at the Atlantis Casino and Resort in the Bahamas. He has worked with numerous celebrity acts from film and television. Paul is one of the few comics that can work squeaky clean or perform a more adult oriented act. From college campuses to retirement communities, he can cater to any audience. However, he is never obscene or vulgar. His motto is 'Funny, not Filthy.'
