- Information Collection: This information collection is necessary for completion of our required Security and Radiologically Controlled Area paperwork. Deadline to submit your form is May 30th.
- Government-Issued Photo Identification: Each visitor must bring a current (non-expired) government-issued photo ID. Without this ID, the visitor will not be allowed inside of the fenced, Protected area at CNS. There are no exceptions to this federal regulation.
- Walking Distance: CNS is spread out over a large area. Site tours include a lot of walking and some stair climbing. It is important for visitors to know this prior to the tour.
Cooper Nuclear Station Information: Along the Missouri River, located just south of Brownville, Nebraska, is Nebraska Public Power District's Cooper Nuclear Station. It operates as the state's largest, single-unit electrical generator, generating approximately 835 megawatts of safe, reliable, carbon-free electricity. This is enough electricity to serve more than 385,000 residential customers during the hottest summer.
