Coolest Projects Ireland

Coolest Projects Ireland is a free, fun, in-person event to showcase digital technology projects created by young people who are resident in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. It will be held on 13 April 2024 at the DCU St Patrick's campus.

The event celebrates young people up to age 18 and the amazing things they have made with code. Welcoming projects of all kinds, from big to small, beginner to advanced, and work in progress to completed creation, the showcase allows a community of like-minded people to come together and celebrate a shared passion for all things computer science, and provides a fun way of encouraging participation in STEM activities.

This family-friendly event is open to all visitors, whether experienced with tech or just curious. We look forward to seeing you there!

By car: Please note due to an unforseen open day, St Patrick's campus does not have parking available. Parking is available in All Hallows Campus car park opposite, which is a 5 minute walk. Please contact us if you have accessibility needs.

By train: Drumcondra train station is a 15 min walk away.

By bus: There are several bus stops for the College along Drumcondra Road.
These serve routes 1, 11, 13, 16, 16C, 33, 33-N, 41, 41-A 41B, 41C, 44, 180, 740, 900, 901, 904, 910 and 980.
