Back to School is the perfect time to kick off to a healthy eating lifestyle! In August, Joyful Treats CDC and friends will focus its educational programming on matters related to health and wellness. In an effort to ensure healthier children in Washtenaw County, Michigan we are collaborating with other community organizations to address hungry children and how it affects our country.
The purpose of this event is to reduce hunger disparities in Washtenaw County by creating educational & economical partnerships between the local food communities, school administration, parents and kids for the greater health and wellness. Sharing awareness to the community of these free and/or low-cost programs is our responsibility in assisting residents who are underinsured.
