Cooking Workshop: For the Love of Varenyky

We're back with a Ukrainian cooking workshop celebrating the craft of varenyky! Together we'll learn about this traditional Ukrainian dumpling (very similar to the Polish perogi) under the expert guidance of instructor Vitalia Deriabina.

Join us Saturday, February 14th from 11am - 1pm to:

• Explore the craft of traditional Ukrainian varenyky in a hands-on workshop. Each participant will make 1/2 dozen each of sweet (strawberry) and savory (cheese) varenyky.
• Sit and savor together an assortment of varenyky made by our chef-instructor Vitalia Deriabina - mushroom, potato, and blueberry!
• Share your experiences with varenyky, pierogi, pelmeni, or any of the dumpling traditions of the world.
• Take home the varenyky you make to cook later with your best beloveds!

The workshop will be held at the Hudson Valley Open Kitchen, a beautiful fully-equipped shared-use commercial kitchen. This will be a fun, cozy, and hands-on experience perfect for a winter afternoon. Get ready to learn, connect, and enjoy some amazing food together.
