Cooking with the Earth: Cooking Class w/ Chef Gabby Aron @ Elijah's Promise

Hello Everybody 👋 Join me for a special down-to-earth, farm-to-table experience: Cooking with the Earth: Cooking Class w/ Chef Gabby Aron at ELij211 Livingston Ave on November 8, 2025 at 3:00 PM (Eastern Time).

We will be preparing a multi-faceted vegetarian menu using local produce directly from the farmers market, and ingredients from all food groups.

Roots, stems, leaves, fruit, seeds, mushrooms, fermentation & more.

We will also be learning basic knife and kitchen tool skills, along with a mindfulness eating practice. Our menu will be based on the ingredients that Chef Gabby finds at the farmers market, and aims to give students the confidence for shopping and planning a seasonal menu.

Our class size is capped of 12 students.

What You’ll Experience:

• Hands-on instruction and preparation of an autumnal appetizer, salad, entree, and dessert (including a mini fermentation lesson)
• Time to cook, learn new kitchen tips, and enjoy a meal together

Class Schedule (3:00 PM – 5:30 PM):

• Welcome, meditation, food prep (20 minutes): Get settled in, tour the kitchen, meet your fellow students and teacher, take a look at our beautiful ingredients and learn about the farms where they came from, talk about recipes, set up our stations.
• Cooking (75-90 minutes): Guided by chef Gabby,
• Dine + Q&A (30 minutes): Sit down to enjoy our meal, ask questions, and connect with the class
