Cooking with Bubbie stars America’s most famous grandmother, The Bubbie. The show takes place at a "taping" of her fictional TV cooking show. Bubbie will entertains you with comedy skits, original songs, and the sage advice that only a Bubbie can dispense.After you’ve laughed your tuchus off, shed a few tears, and enjoyed songs like “Schmaltz,” “A Little Nosh,” and “Under the Cuppah” you get a little taste of the Bubbies famous brisket and her “to die for” hamantashen.
MadKap Productions is pleased to present the Midwest premiere of the new musical Cooking With Bubbie for 26 performances from July 10 – August 22 on Thursdays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm, Fridays and Sundays at 1:30 pm. Jan Slavin of the Boomer Babes will perform as Bubbie on Thursday and Saturday nights and Chicago Gold Coast Award winner Carla Gordon will perform as Bubbie for Friday and Sunday matinees.
