Cooking Up Health: The Mediterranean Way

This 6-week series explores simple steps to healthy eating. Sessions will feature food demonstrations and tastings, providing you with practical skills and delicious recipes to incorporate into your daily life.
Sessions will be held on Thursdays from August 6th to September 10th, from 5:30PM to 7:00 PM EST.
Classes are in-person and include educational handouts, recipes, demonstrations, and food samplings. Cost is $45 total for all 6 classes. Advance registration is required and space is limited.

Participating in this series will:
- Increase your understanding of healthy eating concepts and benefits associated with the Mediterranean-style eating pattern.
- Increase your confidence in selecting, planning, preparing, and implementing a healthy, regular eating pattern.
- Increase your understanding and implementation of mindful eating strategies.
Curriculum: This series is based on the "Med Instead of Meds" curriculum, developed by NC State University, which emphasizes the benefits of the Mediterranean diet for long-term health and wellness.
