Cooking The Books Podcast Live at Rockwater, Cookbook Author Event

Gilly Smith is bringing her award-winning foodie podcast, Cooking The Books, to Hove. The first recording is with Yasmin Fahr on 2 July. As well as talking about her latest cookbook, Cook Simply, Live Fully, she will be talking about how she ended up as an American food writer in Spain. Details about early exclusive access to her cookbook are below.

The first live podcast interview is with Yasmin Fahr, Tuesday 2 July 6.30pm at Rockwater.

Yasmin is an American food writer, cookbook author and contributor to NYT Cooking, The Kitchn, and Food52. Her writing and recipes have also appeared in, amongst other publications, The Washington Post, Epicurious, TASTE, Delicious, The Telegraph, Bon Appétit, Serious Eats, Today's online food section.

Yasmin has recently moved to Spain, the story of how that happened is at the beginning of her new cookbook Cook Simply, Live Fully.

Cook Simply, Live Fully has 120 recipes for taking the grind out of dinnertime, with dishes that span the range of “too tired to chop vegetables” to “up for a challenge but please make it snappy.” Yasmin’s approach is all about simplicity and flavor while keeping things nutritious and vegetable forward.

You can be the first to get a copy of Yasmin’s latest cookbook - Cook Simply, Live Fully. Cookbookbake has arranged for copies to be shipped from the US and they will be available for sale at the event. £5 of your ticket price is redeemable against the cost of the cookbook on the evening and Yasmin will be signing copies. Cook Simply, Live Fully is published in the UK on 29 August.
