Join us for a morning of coffee, chatting, and cooking with registered dietitian, Mandy Murphy Carroll. While we learn meal prep tips and tricks that are realistic for busy moms, we'll cook Mandy's fabulous African Peanut Stew. Every chef (?) will leave with two 32-ounce containers of stew, to enjoy immediately or freeze for a rainy day.

While I have my formal nutrition training from my Bachelor of Sciences in Nutritional Sciences, credential as a Registered Dietitian (RD), and my Master in Public Health Nutrition (MPH), my longstanding passion is for bringing people together over home-cooked meals.

Since graduating with my MPH from UC Berkeley, I have worked on projects at Stanford University, UCSF, Children’s Hospital Oakland Research Institute, Project Open Hand, and Natural Resources as a health educator and research study coordinator.

My husband and I live in the Mission District with our two children, and a lovely community of neighbors.
