Cooking Demonstration at Chicago FarmWorks - Farm Fresh Salsa

Maria Rios will demonstrate how to make farm fresh salsa using ingredients harvested from our farm. Everyone goes home with a jar of salsa!
About this Event

From 5:30 to 6pm, attendees will arrive, check-in, and have a chance to tour the farm site.

From 6pm to 7pm, the demonstration will occur.

In this cooking demonstration, we will learn how to make farm fresh salsa with Heartland staff member, Maria Rios. All ticket holders will get to enjoy some of the salsa during the demo and then take home a jar of salsa. Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided, as well.

This event is pay what you can when you arrive, and no one will be turned away for lack of funds. We ask for a donation of $10 per ticket holder to cover the cost of supplies.
