You’ll learn the all the steps to make naturally leavened sourdough focaccia at home without a mixer, including how to care for your sourdough starter for years.
Kala will guide you through the process step-by-step, sharing techniques and tips, and troubleshooting common sourdough focaccia challenges.
Attendees will leave with an active sourdough starter ready to use, a detailed recipe, and the confidence to bake your own focaccia at home.

About the Instructor
Kala Riddle has been fermenting foods of all kinds since 2014. She has a degree in Nutrition and is an advocate for local food systems. She has owned a sourdough micro-bakery, and has experience in hosting cooking and gardening classes for kids and adults. In her classes, she brings a depth of scientific and functional knowledge of fermentation and its wonders.
