Cookies After Dark (18+) Sugar Cookie Decorating Class

Interested in learning more about decorated sugar cookies?! Jenny Bean Bakes is here to help! In this 2 hour class, we'll cover the basics to sugar cookies (so – yes, it’s beginner friendly!), do some piping practice with Royal Icing, talk about how to strategize the best ways to decorate sugar cookies, and cover the general concepts around dough and icing! Everything you'll need is provided in class along with a live in-person instructor – just bring a smile (and maybe an apron).

We'll be decorating 6 naughty themed cookies while you sip on a complimentary glass of wine (or mocktail) and mingle with other cookie enthusiasts! You'll leave class with a great understanding of the basics of sugar cookies plus a few cool techniques we'll cover in class! This class is for the beginner cookier or for the person who is just curious about what cookie decorating is all about! If you have limited experience with sugar cookies, found yourself frustrated with royal icing, or if you're trying to have fun with family or friends, this is the class for you! We’ll be decorating a set of 6 naughty themed cookies – snag your tickets today and don't miss out on the adults only fun!

We provide everything you will need from cookies, icing, sprinkles, and a box to take your awesome creations home in - we just need YOU! Each to-be-baker gets 6 cookies, 4 icing colors, sprinkles, and all the tools necessary to knock this cookie class out of the park! Everything is prepped right before class – so no baking or icing mixing required. Just decorate!

This class is on Friday, May 10, 2024 and starts at 6:00 PM sharp so we can have enough time to decorate and answer along the way. Come by yourself, bring your best friend, or bring the family - we have seating for up to 16 (sixteen) people! It's a blast whether you're coming with a friend, family member, or solo!

This class is ADULTS ONLY (18+) AND 21+ to enjoy the complimetary glass of wine.

The class will be held at the The Sweet Heartist in Melbourne, FL located at 7777 N. Wickham Rd., Unit 17. Nervous about the parking situation? Don’t be! Parking is plentiful.

Order your sugar cookie class kit and take the class home with you to teach a friend! These class kits come with everything you'll use in class, and I’ll email you the step-by-step instructions to use at home! Cookie Class DIY Kits are created before your class, and you'll pick them up and take them with you after class.

How long can a kit last? Depending on how you store your icing, your kits can last for a week or longer. Freezing cookies keep them fresh for a long time, but I recommend using your kit as soon as possible - ideally in the first week after you've taken it home. Cookies are heat sealed for freshness – but again, use it in under a week to make sure it tastes the best.

Allergens: Heads up – these cookies include the following ingredients: dairy, eggs, gluten, almond extract

Class Cancelation Policy: Classes may be canceled at the discretion of me, the event host. This rarely happens – but in that extremely rare event that it does, you’ll receive a 100% refund including your Eventbrite fees.

Classes with attendance below 5 will be canceled. Don’t be sad! You can either get a class credit for a future class (along with my apologies), or a full refund! I’ll let you know if your class has low attendance 3 days before the event is canceled so that you can bring a friend (hint hint) or find other plans for that day.

Eventbrite Fees: Your ticket price includes your ticket fees; however, Eventbrite does not refund its fees. If you cancel your ticket and request a refund prior to the cancelation window expiring, I’ll happily give you a refund less the Eventbrite fee – since I don’t get this fee back either. Eventbrite keeps it regardless of whether you show up or cancel. I know – I hate it too!
