Cookie Decorating Class with Sugarcoated Bakery

Whether you’re celebrating valentines, galentines, or just in the mood for something fun and sweet, join us on February 13th for a cookie decorating class led by Sugarcoated Bakery!

In this 90-minute beginner-friendly class, you’ll decorate 6 fabulous cookies with designs fit for a queen (or your favorite gal pal) including: 

• Diamond
• Lips
• Tumbler Cup
• Strawberry
• Cupcake
• Rose

You’ll use one consistency royal icing in four fun colors—brown, white, green, and red—to learn:

• How to use time to create dimension
• Wet-on-wet techniques for stunning designs
• Layering icing for that perfect finish

What’s Included:

• 6 cookies, 4 bags of royal icing,
• All the tools you need like a scribe, parchment paper, and paper towel,
• A box to take your completed cookies home,
• Group presentation of introduction to decorating plus tips for each cookie design,
• Printed step-by-step picture instructions, tips, and hints for success (yours to keep!),
• Expert instruction in a relaxed, fun atmosphere.

As a bonus you also get royal icing and sugar cookie recipes!

Are children allowed? Of course! Please note though that anyone over 5 years old must have their own ticket due to space limitations.

Allergens - Common allergens that are in the cookies and icing include wheat, eggs, and milk. Cookies do not include nut or nut oils. Sugarcoated is SafeServ certified for food safety and inspected by the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. We follow all best practices for food safety and allergen control.

Cancellation policy - everything is made (and bought and ordered and printed and packaged) just for you! As a result, cancellations must be received by Thursday, Feb. 6 for a full refund. Between Feb. 7 and 8, a partial refund of $30 will be issued. There are no refunds for cancellations between Feb. 9 and 13. The good news is that you still get the cookie kit and class materials! We'll work together to schedule by Thursday, Feb. 20.
