Danny Freeman returns to the Ivy-- and his hometown of Baltimore-- to celebrate his delightful new cookbook, Italianish!

It's a book that proves to all of us that the classic Italian-American dishes we know and love are still ripe for reinvention in the hands of a trusted chef. We love Danny Freeman's approach to cooking for its at-home creativity, for the way it makes fun and fresh approaches feel doable for the whole family. Speaking of the whole family, Danny's brother Jason Freeman will be joining him in conversation for this event, so we'll have the treat of receiving inspiration from the very heart of the book.

Danny Freeman is a cookbook author and content creator known for his innovative, vibrant, and fun approach to cooking. His first cookbook, Danny Loves Pasta, put a colorful spin on fresh pasta, using vegetables, herbs, and spices to make pasta in every color of the rainbow. As a chef and parent to two-young kids, he has brought his innovative approach to the full spectrum of Italian-American cooking in his new cookbook, Italianish, where he puts a modern twist on classic Italian dishes in order to bring some new ideas to weeknight meals. He has appeared on Good Morning America, the Rachael Ray Show, the Kelly Clarkson Show, the Sherri Shepherd Show, and more, and he has been featured by the New York Times, People Magazine, and many others.

Jason Freeman is a real estate columnist for The Baltimore Banner and he runs the popular @historichomesofbaltimore Instagram account, where he researches and documents Baltimore homes, neighborhoods, and history. He's also Danny's brother!
