Cook County Crime Stoppers 40th Anniversary Awards Dinner

Dear Friend,

You are invited to attend and be part of an amazing event at this year’s Cook County Crime Stoppers 40th Anniversary Award Dinner.

Our keynote speaker is the newly elected Cook County State Attorney, Eileen O'Neill Burke. She served for ten years as the Cook County Assistant State Attorney before being elected to the bench in 2008. In 2016, she was elected Justice of the First District Appellate County in Cook County. Justice Burke issued over 800 written decisions in both civil and criminal cases.

This year, we will honor Marc Maton as our 2025 Distinguished Award winner. Marc Matson started his Law Enforcement Career with the Illinois State Police in 1986 and retired in 2014 as Deputy Director. In 2015, Maton was appointed Chief of Police for the Lemont Police Department. He also has been appointed President of the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police. He is an individual who is well respected in Law Enforcement.

In addition to our Distinguished Service award, we will recognize law enforcement, citizens, businesses, and organizations that have gone that extra mile to help be a positive voice in their community. Other award categories are Excellence in Law Enforcement, Forensic Service Award, Citizen’s Award for Bravery, Community Service Award, Public Sector Award, Corporate Award, Special Recognition Award, Media Award, and Academia Award.

Finally, we will honor George McDade. George has been Chairman of Cook County Crime Stoppers for the last 30 years. His dedicated service to all law enforcement throughout Cook County and Federal agencies has made a huge impact on solving crime and bringing closure to families of victims.

The Award Dinner/Fundraiser will take place on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the Mayfield Banquet Hall, located at 6072 South Archer Avenue, in Chicago from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Come and witness for yourself as we honor all those who have helped to keep your community safer.

How can you be part of this momentous event? YOU CAN TAKE A STEP AGAINST CRIME BY attending the dinner and/or becoming a sponsor. Your sponsorship and donation will be used to help the organization assist law enforcement in solving crime. In addition, your sponsorship plays a major part in honoring the award recipients who have gone beyond the call of duty to bring justice to the victims. There are several sponsor packages to choose from. Please complete the attached sponsorship form and send your check to the address listed.
