Convocation 2025

The Institute’s upcoming Convocation 2025 is scheduled for February 24 - 26 at St. Edward’s University in Austin. Save the date and begin making your plans to attend. Most important is your registration to the meeting itself, which can be done here in a matter of minutes.

At Convocation, guests enjoy complimentary meals, high-quality Holy Cross programming that enhances their professional development, prayer services and liturgies that are prepared in advance by trained ministers, and other benefits as well. New this year, the St. Edward's University's Office of Graduate and Professional Studies will award each participant 1.4 CEU's (Continuing Education Units) as well as a Convocation completion certificate While there is no registration fee for Convocation, there are costs associated with all these benefits, and the Holy Cross Institute has historically absorbed the costs as a gesture of hospitality to our guests.

As we have done in the past, the Institute's board invites each Convocation attendee to make a donation so that together we can keep Convocation vibrant and viable long into the future. While the suggested amount is $75, please make a donation at the level most comfortable for you, and thank you for your valued support. This is an opportunity for each of us to invest in Holy Cross education by supporting the Convocation. Thank you so much for your donation:
Please note: Because St. Edward’s University hosts Convocation, attendees who are part of St. Edward’s are excluded from this appeal.

Accommodations

We strongly encourage you to make your accommodations at the host hotel for Convocation 2025, the Austin Marriott South. The Austin Marriott South has a large campus that also includes a Courtyard by Marriott with accommodations that are priced more economically. Our exclusive link to housing at Austin Marriott South contains links to both the block of sleeping rooms at the Marriott South (for $169 per night) and at the Courtyard (for $129 per night). Please select the level of accommodation you desire, and prepare to enjoy hot breakfast each morning of Convocation at either the Marriott or the Courtyard. The Marriott campus will be a hub at breakfast time and in the evening hours after the Convocation has concluded for the day. There will be shuttle bus service from the hotels to and from Convocation on a regular basis. You will also want to check out the Austin Southpark Hotel, where all participants can book rooms at rates specially reduced for the Convocation.
