Conversations on Holistic Wellness and Emotional Support for Women
About this Event
Women only
Hopscotch Women's Centre will be hosting monthly conversations designed to support women’s holistic wellbeing and navigate through various challenges and life changes. These sessions offer a safe, welcoming and non-judgemental space where women can share experiences, reflect on life transitions and feel heard and supported.
Through guided discussions, gentle creative activities and practical learning, we explore emotional wellbeing and everyday challenges together. Whether you’re navigating change, loss, motherhood, menopause or emotional distress, you’re welcome to this space. Light refreshments will be provided.
Every month, these sessions are led by different facilitators to help guide these conversations and create a safe, supportive environment.
On Tuesday the 25th of August, join artist and trainee art therapist Alaa Alsaraji for the second of a 2-series workshops, focusing on creativity and mental health. We will be using creative tools to explore your relationships to your emotions, how you experience them in your body and creative ways to express yourself.
You do not need to have any previous skills in the arts; just come as you are.
All materials will be provided.
About The Bridge and Hopscotch
The Bridge is a women’s health and wellbeing charity based in Southwark working to create inclusive and welcoming spaces for women of all identities to connect and thrive for over 90 years. We believe in a fairer society where women’s voices are heard and their health and wellbeing are valued and respected. Through our women-only gym, community café, wellbeing programmes and support groups, we help women care for themselves, support one another and challenge injustices together.
Hopscotch is a Camden based pan London service working in boroughs needing specialist support for marginalised women. We offer a trauma informed, person centred wraparound service. We are culturally appropriate, we work locally and centrally to bring about a systems change to reduce racism and misogyny.
