Hola amigos! Quieres hablar español? ¿¡Sí?! This 9-week course is designed for beginners to practice basic sentences, phrases and words for simple everyday communication in Spanish. This is not your average high school class! Each class will take you through interactive situations covering topics such as meetings and greetings, transportation, accommodation, eating and drinking, as well as sightseeing and shopping. Vocabulary will be accessible through “Easy Spanish Phrase Book” by Pablo García Loseza, Ph.D. included in your tuition. Commitment to the 9-week session is required. No make-ups will be available. Space is limited to 8 students to ensure quality instruction and pre-registration is required. A registration form will be emailed upon signing up. Sign up by clicking the “SIGN UP” button below.

Day/Time: Mondays 5:30-6:30pm for 9 consecutive weeks starting September 27th ending on November 22nd.
For a mini grammar session and questions, please arrive at 5:15pm.
About your instructor:
Megan Tavares has been a K-12 certified Spanish teacher in the state of Florida for the past 8 years. She has been a Spanish instructor at Florida Virtual Schools since 2017. Megan holds a Bachelor Degree in Liberal Arts majoring in Spanish from the University of Toledo in Ohio. She lived abroad in Mexico studying and teaching for four years. Her passion lies in teaching those who want to learn. Megan believes immersing yourself in situations is the best way to learn a language. That is why her language teaching approach focuses on situational conversation. She works to create this opportunity for every student in any class she teaches. Megan continues to use her Spanish through her travels to other countries - Peru, Guatemala and Costa Rica.
