The Conversation in Poetry @theMuseum initiative is a new community engagement initiative of the Lokxion Foundation hosted at Stellenbosch University Museum. The initiative is linked to the social impact imperative of the Social Impact and Transformation Responsibility Area. It is also linked to Vision 2040 especially the aspiration of “a transformed and integrated academic community that celebrates critical thinking, promotes debate, and is committed to democracy, human rights, and social justice with an outward international and future focus.” The initiative is also influenced by Stellenbosch University’s values, especially respect, and equity.

The main objective of the Conversation in Poetry @theMuseum is to provide a neutral safe meeting space for University Community (students, Academics, and Staff) and Greater Stellenbosch communities.
