This is part of Conversations about/with Brazilian Women Writers, a series offered in conjunction with POBS 2600 D, “Brazilian Fictions of the Self,” taught by Professor Luiz F. Valente. The conversation will be conducted in Portuguese and can also be attended on Zoom.
ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Earl E. Fitz is a professor of Portuguese, Spanish, and Comparative Literature at Vanderbilt University specializing in Brazilian literature (especially Clarice Lispector and Machado de Assis). Professor Fitz is the author of Clarice Lispector (1985), Sexuality and Being in the Poststructuralist Universe of Clarice Lispector: The Différance of Desire (2001), and Clarice Lispector: From Brazil to the World (2024).
