Converge Mental Health Summit

In an effort to build bridges between a variety of sectors that intersect with Canada's Mental Health ecosystem, Converge is hosting its inaugural mental health summit. This one day event will be held in person in Calgary focusing on where and how innovation is happening in accessing and navigating Canada's mental health system.

Keynote Speaker:

Dr. David Goldbloom is the former Senior Medical Advisor at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto and former Chair of the Mental Health Commission of Canada. He is a Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto and is the author of bestseller, How Can I Help? A Week in My Life as a Psychiatrist and We Can Do Better: Urgent Innovations to Improve Mental Health Access and Care. Dr. Goldbloom’s activities have been recognized and awarded by his peers and students. He has authored numerous scientific articles and book chapters, and has provided talks and lectures to students, professionals, and public audiences.

Removing Barriers to Attend:

Converge's mandate is to create opportunities for individuals to "bounce off of each other" and share what they are working on and what they are looking for from the Coalition. As such the Summit is FREE. We have arranged a discounted rate at The Westley for those who are coming in from out of town.
