Come and celebrate the launch for Convalescence. 🎉 The most recent work from Perth composer Danny Omega
It will take place on Saturday the 8th of november 2025 at 7pm, in the hall at St Patricks anglican church in Mount Lawley.
No dress code and open to anyone. There will be a 40 minute playthrough of the album with light effects and video projection.
Convalescence is an album which explores the experience of sustaining an injury and the recovery process that follows, largely inspired by the artist's two recent injuries; a laceration to the hand which partially severed a nerve and damaged a tendon, and a fractured wrist. both isolated events 6 months apart. He has sustained a number of other injuries in his childhood and draws inspiration by noticing trends that seem to happen to his physical and emotional states as he progresses through his recovery process.
