Get to Know the Panelists:

Stacy Greeter, MD (she/her) is double board certified in both child/adolescent and adult psychiatry and owns a group psychiatric practice in Sarasota, FL. She speaks from both her lived experience as an autistic, ADHD, and OCD individual and as a clinician. Dr. Greeter graduated Summa Cum Lade from Duke University and went on to University of North Carolina School of Medicine on a full scholarship. Dr. Greeter completed her residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and continued there to complete her subspecialty fellowship in child/adolescent psychiatry. However, that is only where her learning began, as Dr. Greeter is an avid self-directed learner with an insatiable curiosity and infectious enthusiasm for her work. She believes in cross-pollination of knowledge between disciplines, creating space for safe candid conversations on controversial mental health issues, and runs a multi-disciplinary mental health professionals book club. Dr. Greeter teaches at Lake Erie College of Medicine and Florida State University, is on the board of directors for Autism Career Pathways, and in leadership at Autistic Doctors International. Dr. Greeter uses metaphors from fantasy universes such as Star Wars, Harry Potter, and Lord of the Rings to make psychiatric concepts accessible and engaging through her educational Psychiatry Bootcamp series.

Rev. Dr. Katie O’Dunne is a chaplain who works at the intersection of faith and OCD. She supports clinicians seeking to understand theological nuances in the development of culturally responsive treatment, helps clergy offer spiritual support without reassurance, and encourages individuals navigating OCD to reimagine treatment as an opportunity to connect with their faith. Katie is the founder and director of the Stick with the Ick (a virtual faith and OCD community app), consultant on religion for OCD Institute Texas, and lead advocate for the International OCD Foundation. Based on her work reimagining Exposure and Response Prevention as a spiritual practice across religious/spiritual traditions, Katie was the recipient of the Doctor of Ministry Award for Distinction in Integrative Care Practices at her recent Vanderbilt graduation. Prior to her work with faith and OCD, Katie was ordained in the United Church of Christ and spent 7 years serving as the Academy Chaplain and the Pauline and R.L. Brand Jr. ’35 Chair of Religious Studies at Woodward Academy in Atlanta, Georgia. While serving in this role, she also served as a consultant on interfaith programming for schools around the country. Katie finds joy in tackling 50 ultra-marathons for OCD awareness and proudly received the IOCDF Advocate Spirit Award for inspiring others on their unique journeys.
