The Fort Worth Camera School presents a new series. Control the Light: A Three-Part Lighting Experience, a comprehensive and hands-on experience designed to elevate your understanding of light.

This is a three class workshop! You can pick and choose which classes you would like to attend based off of your interests. However, class space is limited!

You will learn the simple techniques to get started using off camera flash and we'll begin by making sense of transmitters, stands & modifiers (umbrellas, soft boxes, etc). Then, we will demonstrate & show you just how easy & effective using one light setup for off camera flash can be for your photo sessions. Ready to take control of your lighting? This is a dynamic, three-part experience designed to transform how you see and use light.

Class series indoor studio session:

This 2-hour indoor studio session is a hands-on exploration of using strobes and light modifiers to achieve complete control over your lighting. You’ll learn how to shape and direct light using tools such as softboxes, umbrellas, and reflectors to create a variety of looks and moods. With a focus on precision and consistency, this class will help you understand how to build and adjust lighting setups with confidence. Ideal for photographers looking to gain full creative control in a studio environment. Triggers, lighting, and other tools will be provided!

What to bring: Camera, charged battery, memory card, and note taking supplies.
