Active since 1974, Leicester based Contrast Steel Band have performed countrywide and overseas playing at a wide range of private, corporate, community and charity events. Now recently established as a community interest company (CIC), the mission of the band is to instil the steel pan in the heart of the community of Leicester and enrich lives through music education and cultural experiences, fostering a sense of community and creativity.
