This two- or three-day workshop integrates classroom and on-site experiences at a host facility to build upon the knowledge and experience gained in the DISCOVER EXCELLENCE* workshop. It begins by teaching you how to clearly define value through the eyes of your customers. It continues the discussion about ideal behaviors, fundamental purpose, and behavioral benchmarks and takes you deeper into the Shingo Model™ by focusing on the principles identified in the Continuous Improvement dimension:

The CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT workshop will deepen your understanding of the relationship between behaviors, systems, and principles, and how they drive results.

*DISCOVER EXCELLENCE is a prerequisite to this workshop.

We have worked diligently to craft this workshop so that yours is an unparalleled experience within the realm of virtual workshops. We provide brief tutorials ahead of time for the technology we use to enable your engagement early and fully.

Before the workshop each participant will receive in the mail a BRILLIANT WORKFORCE™ Workshop Tool Kit to further enhance your experience in a virtual learning environment.

NOTE: To ensure value to the participants of our workshops, Leg Up Solutions® absorbs the Eventbrite handling fee. However, to be certain everyone receives their Toolkit before the workshop, seats purchased within ten (14) days of the workshop will include the Eventbrite handling fee to allow for the cost of expedited delivery of the Toolkit.

FAQs

Is the event easy to get to? Simply log in to the workshop URL with the credentials you receive after registration.

What can I bring into the event? All materials will be provided by Leg Up Solutions®. The only thing you need to bring is your body and your brain. However, to enhance your experience and to enable full and unabated engagement, it is recommended you have

• Adequate wifi bandwidth (you can check with your local ISP to ensure you have what you need)
• A second monitor to which you can extend your desktop, to engage with both the collaboration tools and the videoconferencing platform we use

How can I contact the organizer with any questions? Please email [email protected] for any inquiries.

What's the refund policy? There is no refund once registration is complete. However, if you are unable to attend due to competing priorities arising after registration, there are a couple of options you can choose from:

• You may apply your registration fee to a different Leg Up Solutions® workshop of the same price
• You may allow someone to go in your place

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No. But we will be matching a list of registrants against those attending. In addition, the Shingo Institute check-in process helps ensure we have appropriately registered participants.

Can I update my registration information? Yes. If you change organizations or someone goes in your stead, you can change the registration data. However, please be advised that registration is locked 72 hours before the workshop.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable? Yes. If you cannot attend, you can allow someone to attend in your stead. The registration information will need to be updated to reflect the person that will be attending. Please be advised that registration is locked 72 hours before the workshop.

Is it OK if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends? It's not OK, but it's not a show stopper either. We will have to adjust the list of registrants when the person who attends arrives, if they are not identified on the list. Please understand that registration will be locked 72 hours before the workshop.

How many participants will there be? We allow for up to no more than 25 participants in virtual workshops to manage and deliver a premium experience.

Is there a discount for groups? There are a limited number of seats for group discounts. Please email [email protected] so we can work with your group and get you a discount code.

Is there a discount for referring others that attend? Not directly. If you can pull together a group within an organization, which may include professional and other organizations, email us at the address noted just above and we will see what we can do to get your group a discount code.

What if the workshop does not meet my expectations? While it is impossible to please everyone, we strive to deliver an unparalleled learning experience, whether in a traditional or virtual environment. One of the things we value most is the feedback you will deliver at the end of the workshop. This is something we take seriously. It helps us on our own journey of Continuous Improvement and allows us to deliver an even better learning experience for future participants.
