It's Content Bookstore's 10th year celebrating Independent Bookstore Day (what a magical statement!), and we hope you'll join us for a full day of page-turning joy as we celebrate what makes indies so special.We’re starting the celebration early on social media—follow us on Facebook and Instagram for special bookstore trivia leading up to the big day.
And, just for kids, we want to hear from you! On the day of, kids of all ages can participate in our “Why I Love My Indie Bookstore” activity. Just pick up a coloring sheet from our activity table to draw or write your favorite thing about bookstores, and you’ll be featured on our wall.
We’ll have exciting, limited-edition Indie Bookstore Day merchandise available starting at 10 am—we can’t do any holds on this stuff, so come early for the best selection! All day on Saturday, you can get a gorgeous Independent Bookstore Day Tote free when you spend $100 or more (or you can buy a tote for $15). And with every purchase, you can enter to win the coveted Tote of Contentment, a classy canvas bag of bookish riches that we promise will amaze and delight the lucky winner.
With a special thanks to Libro.FM (your indie alternative for audiobooks), we've hidden a special Golden Ticket somewhere in the bookstore. The lucky finder of this Golden Ticket will receive 12 free credits for Libro.FM—that's a lot of listening! So, come early on Saturday, April 27th for your chance to win!

Last but certainly not least, we'll be continuing the party with our friends at the Grand Event Center for a special author talk. Join us and bestselling authors Michael Perry and Benjamin Percy at 7 pm to continue the Indie Bookstore Day festivities.
