Content That Sells is a practical, in-person social media workshop for small business owners who want to get more from the time they spend creating content.
In just 60 minutes, we’ll cover:
- How to create content that leads to bookings, enquiries and sales
- The one thing most businesses never check that tells you what’s actually working
- The social media basics worth getting right before worrying about trends
- Some of our go-to tips and tactics for making better-performing content
- How to work out what your audience actually wants to see
- A mix of practical exercises, real examples and straightforward teaching
- How to build a simple plan you can continue using after the workshop
You’ll leave with a much clearer idea of what to post, why you’re posting it and how social media can actually support your business.
Who is it for?
Independent shops, cafés, salons, clinics, trades, service businesses and other small businesses in and around Portsmouth.
You don’t need any previous social media or marketing experience - just bring your business and your questions.

A notepad or laptop, your phone, and any social media questions you’ve been meaning to ask.
Who’s running it?
The workshop is run by Service Please Studio, a Portsmouth-based creative marketing studio helping small businesses turn the work they already do into content people actually want to watch - and content that supports real business growth.
The team has helped take a local business from a standing start to a 1M-view TikTok, alongside supporting businesses with social media, content, websites, SEO and paid advertising.
