Come and immerse yourself in the world of Contemporary Fusion Dance in San Mateo! This is an all-levels movement class for dancers looking to expand their knowledge in contemporary dance. 💃🕺This class blends elements from various dance styles, including contemporary, jazz, ballet, hip hop, and cultural dances from around the world. We will focus on artistic expression, creativity, and individuality, offering students a welcoming platform to explore movement in a diverse and inclusive environment.
In our contemporary fusion class, you can expect to move using fluid and organic movements with sharp and dynamic choreography. Students are encouraged to connect with their breath and body, cultivating awareness and presence.

The first half of class is dedicated to warm up and exploration. We will warm up together with group combinations and contemporary exercises intended to make you sweat and get your body ready to move.
The second half of class is dedicated to learning choreography and embodying it to music. Phrase work in this class draws from Erin’s experiences with contemporary, release, improvisation, Gaga, physical theater and floor work techniques.
So whether you're a seasoned dancer or a beginner looking to try something new, this class offers a supportive and inclusive environment where you can let loose, have fun, and connect with new people.
