Join Jo Starkey as she teaches you different techniques and methods to create beautiful contemporary floral landscape and forest-themed paintings.
This workshop is suitable for all artistic abilities, even if you're a complete novice – the methods we'll be using are easy to learn and apply.
You will be working with acrylics on board. There is some easy brushwork in this workshop, where you’ll be painting wild grasses and simple floral forms using loose brushwork and playful paint spattering to add depth and interest.
The focal point will be bold impasto flowers with painted stems, finished with rich, textured gold seed heads and subtle metallic highlights to bring the whole composition to life.
If you’re lacking confidence or inspiration, this one-day workshop will give you the kickstart you need to explore your creative side – and you’ll have so much fun in the process!
A break for lunch will be taken with afternoon tea which includes scones with cream and jam, a sandwich, a slice of cake and a tea or coffee per person. Please email [email protected] if you have any allergies or dietary requirements.
