Contemplative Retreat - Season of Creation

We will gather in a beautiful place outside the city to join our hearts and minds to listen to the voice of God and the chorus of Creation! As this Season of Creation wraps up on October 4 (the Feast of St. Francis) we will spend some time reflecting on the themes of this year and contemplating the basis of our hope and action in and for Creation.

Registration is $35 for the full day, (Pay what you can - if you can afford to give more to help cover costs please do, and if you need assistance, bursary is also available!) Registration fee includes a delicious catered lunch, homemade snacks and beverages, as well as our exclusive use of Earthspring Sanctuary, a beautiful and unique setting of indoor and extensive outdoor spaces from which to consider Creation.

A more detailed schedule is forthcoming, but the day will include three 30-min discussion sessions, as well as lots of breathing space and time for gentle contemplative activities including walks along their extensive trail network, creative artistry, singing/chanting, and a special time to receive healing prayer and anointing in the afternoon.

While rooted deep in the Christian tradition, this retreat welcomes all who find solace in the beauty of Creation.

Carpool will be available from the AbbeyChurch, leaving at 8:30 am and returning at 4:30 pm.
