Contact Photography Festival: Abbozzo Gallery Opening Night

For this year's Contact Photography Festival, we are using the full potential of our Gallery to show the work of three photographers, each with a distinct approach to the medium and its narrative potential. These three distinct exhibitions, while individually captivating, together offer a comprehensive look at the multifaceted capabilities of contemporary photography, inviting audiences to explore the medium through a variety of lenses.

In his fourth solo exhibition at Abbozzo Gallery, Arnold Zageris brings his expertise in nature photography to the main gallery, emphasizing the beauty and intricacy of water in its many forms.

In his first exhibition with Abbozzo Gallery, emerging artist Matthew Stephenson, will be exhibited in the Feature Gallery. Through his lens, Stephenson tells stories of human connections and the constant evolution of the urban landscape, seamlessly integrating landscapes, people, and streetscapes, revealing the vibrancy and energy of city environments.

In her third show with Abbozzo Gallery but first solo-feature, Nika Belianina, a mid-career artist and seasoned filmmaker, brings a surrealist twist to her cinematic photography. Belianina's series explores themes of self-discovery and desires, presenting enchanted characters on transformative journeys.
