We will explore how to open the body and attention to invitations coming from a partner, the space, or our own body. Through this, we develop availability, multidirectional movement, and the capacity to stay present and responsive to whatever arises in the moment.

𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿
Alexandra Wuzyk is a multidisciplinary artist born and raised in South Africa. She studied Fine Art at LUCA School of Arts in Belgium, where her work focused on interactive performances, inviting spectators into active and embodied roles.
She first encountered contact improvisation in 2020 and fell in love with the practice as an embodied education for life. She has been actively practicing and studying since then, mostly with programs hosted by TOWARDS: center for the practice and research of contact improvisation in Thailand. She believes in CI as a space that transcends cultural barriers and opens much needed states of listening.
Alexandra has shared CI classes in Thailand, Poland and South Africa, and shared different artworks across 6 continents. She has trained in contact improvisation with Sasha Dodo, Dolores Dewhurst Marks, Anjelika Doniy, Ming Shen Ku, Yasukichi Suzuki, Bari Kim, Inna Falkova, Geraldine Acevedo de Espana, Francisco Borges, Daniel Rojasanta & more, and is grateful to all the teachers who dedicate their lives to this practice.

เธอเชื่อว่า CI เป็นพื้นที่ที่ก้าวข้ามพรมแดนทางวัฒนธรรม และเปิดประตูสู่การรับฟังที่ลึกขึ้นอย่างจำเป็นในยุคนี้
