We’re honored to welcome Chris Wray, a highly experienced facilitator and researcher in the field of 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻—a somatic dance practice rooted in trust, presence, and deep listening. With years of facilitation experience and scientific research, he brings a unique blend of 𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗱𝗼𝗺 and 𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲-𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁.
The evening begins with a 𝟯𝟬-𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸 exploring how Contact Improvisation positively impacts our nervous system, relational intelligence, emotional regulation, and personal development. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of why this practice is not only artistically rich but also psychologically and biologically beneficial.
Following the talk, we’ll move into a 𝟭.𝟱-𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆, open to all bodies and levels of experience. Through shared weight, gentle resistance, and intuitive flow, we’ll explore the beauty of connection without words.
