“Consuelo” acompaña a Sor Leonor Gibbs, la única hermana sobreviviente, quien ayudada por un grupo de profesores con vocación de servicio, continúa su lucha diaria para prevenir la pérdida de los valores que hicieron a este municipio un modelo para la transformación personal, comunitaria y nacional.

Three sisters of the Immaculate Conception of Canada, arrived in 1959 to the municipality of Consuelo in the Dominican Republic. They developed the most comprehensive education and development program in the country, which has now deteriorated with the influence of politics and corruption in the education system. The surviving Sister, Leonor Ann Gibb, helped by a group of teachers with a vocation for service, struggles to prevent the loss of the values that made this municipality a model for personal, social and national transformation in the island.
