Construction Voice Breakfast
About this Event
Who will build the places and spaces of the future?
You’re invited to our first Construction Voice Breakfast on 22 September at Sussex Cricket Ground. An opportunity to meet with fellow members and people working in the construction and property sector, and hear an interesting talk to discuss over breakfast.
Over this and the next of our Construction Voice events, we'll be exploring the future of work - from the changing nature of the workforce in construction and property, to how AI is already having an impact, examples from other sectors and how it's all influencing future developments.
We'll be joined at breakfast by guest speaker Emilie Lashmar, Creative Director and part of the founding team at TOGETHER. Emilie also runs GCUC UK, was a PLATF9RM founding team member and long-time Brightonian who's spent the last decade at the demand end of the property industry, watching how people and companies actually use space.
Emilie will share what she's seeing on the ground; why the office got smaller but the gathering got bigger; why AI is filling buildings rather than emptying them; and how the 15-minute city is arriving through workspace.
After Emilie's talk, you'll have time to discuss between yourselves what this means for the people who design, build and let the spaces we'll work in next.
