Constellation Blankets: An art therapy workshop for queer grievers

How do we hold comfort in our experiences of loss?

In this special workshop we'll be using arts & crafts to explore ideas of loss and grief - working towards a personal blanket that marks our loss like the stars in a constellation.

All materials will be provided. This workshop will be an opportunity to explore and express our feelings around grief. No prior crafting experience is required and all techniques used will be demonstrated on the day.

About the facilitator

Sophie Wakefield (she/her) is a HCPC/BAAT registered art psychotherapist with experience in hospice and NHS end of life care. She currently works in a community art therapy studio for adults

This workshop will also be supported by one of Queer Death Cafe's regular facilitators.
