On Wednesday 22nd July join Suffolk based artist Lily Hammond to create a unique layered artwork.
Celebrating 250 years of John Constable, this family workshop explores landscape through paint and layering. Inspired by Constable’s love of the Suffolk countryside, participants will create a mini painted landscape and add hand-drawn tree silhouettes on acetate to build depth and contrast.
This accessible mixed-media activity encourages visitors of all ages to respond creatively to nature, leaving with a finished layered piece of mini artwork to take home!
Sessions are 45 minutes long and start at 10:15 AM, 11:15 AM, 1 PM, and 2 PM. All materials will be provided along with full guidance.
This event is suitable for ages 5+. Younger children may need help from an adult. Under-16s must be accompanied by a parent or carer at all times.
Tickets are £6 per visitor.
