At 3:00 Sunday, December 8 the Westminster Conservatory Faculty Recital Series will continue with a recital of music for clarinet, viola, and piano. The event will take place in Bristol Chapel, located on the Princeton Campus of Rider University, 101 Walnut Lane. It is open to the public free of charge.
The performers on December 8 will be Westminster Conservatory faculty members Kenneth Ellison, clarinet and pianist Larissa Korkina, who will be joined by guest artist Dennis Krasnokutsky, viola. The program comprises two trios - Mozart's "Kegelstatt" Trio KV 498 and movements from Max Bruch's Eight Pieces, opus 83 - and three duets for viola and piano - movements from J.S. Bach's Sonata BWV 1028, the Sonata in D Minor by Mikhail Glinka, and Carl Maria von Weber's Andante and Hungarian Rondo, opus 35.
